Atlas Air Worldwide Grabs Asiana Air Cargo 747-400F Deal for Atlas Air Cargo Subsidiary

Victoria, Canada – Asiana Airlines has awarded Atlas Air Cargo a contract to operate a Boeing 747-400F on a transpacific cargo route for Asiana’s freight division, Asiana Air Cargo. Atlas Air stated the initial contract would cover one high demand and key global route. "We are delighted to welcome Asiana Cargo as an important addition to our customer portfolio," said Atlas Air Worldwide President and Chief Executive Officer William Flynn.

"Asiana takes pride in providing reliable, high-quality service, and we are very pleased to be chosen to manage an important part of its international network," continued Flynn. The service is due to begin later this month, but no date has been scheduled nor has an official announcement of the exact route been made.
